Fifteen consecutive days of sea swimming! 🏊🏾♂️ I’m rather chuffed with myself for maintaining this streak, especially as the temperatures continue to drop. Each morning dip feels like a small victory, building resilience one splash at a time.
Evening Illuminations
Speaking of the day’s activities, several of you spotted the warm, flickering lights in our windows last night during All Souls Night and asked about my stance on “Not Burning Stuff”.
I’m excited to share how we created that magical ambience without actual candles!
The secret? My trusty Aputure MC lights, set to EFFECT > FIRE > INT 1% > Natural > FRQ 5 mode. These clever little devices created the perfect candlelight simulation while staying true to our sustainable principles.
These pocket-sized powerhouses are truly remarkable bits of kit. About the size of a credit card, they feature full HSI colour control and a CCT range of 3200K-6500K, giving you countless lighting possibilities. The built-in magnets make them incredibly versatile – they’ll stick to any metallic surface!
