Night Owls and Tech Tales π¦
Sleep proved elusive last night.
Perhaps it was the excitement of getting “Apple Intelligence” working on my iPhone that kept my mind buzzing.
You know how it is when you’ve got a new tech toy to play with—sleep becomes optional! π€
The Ripple Effect π΄
My restless night had a knock-on effect—Helen’s sleep was disrupted too. Unlike me, she actually needs proper rest (imagine that!), so when it came time for my tenth consecutive sea dip, I was flying solo.
Sometimes the best gift you can give is letting someone catch up on their sleep.
Solo Serenity β¨
Heading to the beach alone, I wondered if it could match yesterday’s magical shared experience with Helen.
The Sound of Silence π΅
Sometimes solitude offers its own kind of magic.
Just me, the calm sea, and the gentle northwest breeze creating nature’s own meditation space. Dip number 10 proved that whether shared or solo, these morning encounters with the sea never disappoint.
P.S. For Those Who Missed Previous Updates… π‘
If you’ve been following our journey and wondering about the eco-house renovation plans (and I know some of you are!), here’s a quick update: we’re still in the “patience required” phase.
The paperwork continues its journey through the solicitors’ offices, and we’ve been informed by the current owner that the move won’t happen until the new year.
So for now, you’ll have to bear with more sea swimming adventures and drone footage! Rest assured, once there’s movement on the house front, you’ll be the first to know.
The eco renovation plans are still very much alive—they’re just marinating in legal documents at the moment! π
